Samurai experience

When the sword practice was over and everyone was taking pictures,one person said please show demonstration.

I showed some 抜刀術.

It’s been a while since I did “後ろ斬り”, but I can do it well.

I am good feeling today.

I am good feeling after I had massage the day before yesterday.

Samurai experience

We did a tea time at the wood area without the tatami in the dojo because we can not use the meeting room.

When we use the meeting room, it becomes a formal atmosphere, when in the dojo it became a casual atmosphere.

It is also good, so everyone can talk friendly.

This time, I was thinking to say “pretend”, because I could not say it last time.

And when practicing the sword, I holded the “lower stance” just like last time.

I said “pretend” with in my mind many times.

And I said, “I pretend recieve a sword”

I said!

I was very glading in my mind.

But I did next explanation with しれっとした顔で.

I wonder if there are しれっとした顔 in English.

I still have not been able to do enough to explain what I would like to explain.

So I am trying to make a new explanation every time.

This time, I was thinking to explain “I pretend to recieve”.

And, when practice the sword.
I took the “lower stance”.

I said “make the opponent attack first and … （私は受ける構えを取ってから攻撃します）”

“pretend” don’t come out of my mouth.

I was thinking it’s okay if I say to “pretend” today.

There was a person who speaks a little Japanese this time.

So, I asked him why can you speak Japanese?

He said he watched the animation and learned Japanese.

I thought it is a good thing to know the culture of Japan with animation as an entrance.
